Brother HL-2030, Problem printing on Vista

Hi,

I'm having problems printing to my hl-2030 with windows vista.

First I tried to see if it was a problem with the printer, but we have another hl-2030 workinh in another pc with vista and it works great!

We switch the printers and the problem still remains... So, we cut out two problems: the printer not working and the printer compability with vista.

Now i went to the Event Viewer and i got this error everytime I try to print something:

"The document Test Page, from owner LBRamos, failed to print on printer Brother HL-2030. Try to print again or restart the printer spool.
Type of data: NT EMF 1.008. Size of the spool file in bytes: 196608. Number of bytes printed: 0. Total number of pages: 1. Number of pages printed: 0. Client Computer: \\LBRamos. Win32 error code returned by the print processor: 2. The system cannot find the specified file."

Anyone can help me on this? It seems that vista is blocking the file somehow...

check and see if the user has full access to the print spooler folder.

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, the user has access, it's the only user on the computer and I even tried to run things like notepad and print something from there...the problem remains

did yo try a different cable? try right click the printer and try running as administrator.

Yes i tried it but it doesn't work...

Any more ideas?

my only other thought, is to completely uninstall the printer and reinstall.

I have already uninstalled it and reinstalled, but it stays the same... It works for a day or something, and then i get the same error again...
