HP Photosmart C5240 Prints in teeny tiny size

Arrgh. I set up my "new" printer, adjusted all the settings I could find, but everytime I print from a web page, everything prints in teeny itty bitty characters, I can't hardly read. It sometimes uses the full page width, but other times prints using just a corner of the page.

Any ideas?

I haven't been able to figure this one out on my own yet, anyone want to give me some ideas on what to look for? It only happens when I try to print from the web, not from regular documents (like Word) or PDFs. Thank you!

Hi Moki

Any chance there is a setting "fit to page" when you are printing and that it is checked ?

There are a few different dialog boxes for printer settings, so I went through everything I could find. I noticed "scale" was at 50% (yeah) so I increased that to 100 and that allowed printing at a larger size. I've tried to go through all the settings to save them as my preferences, but I'm having a hard time getting them to stay put. It seems like everytime I print, I have to run through everything again, kind of frustrating.....

Sounds like Windows Computing to me ... Lots of Fun ... did resizing your print to 100% help ??

Yes, for that particular document. I'm sure the next time I print, I'll have to reset everything again. It sure seems that every new program I install, every new piece of hardware, every update/upgrade, I have to spend HOURS doctoring it, troubleshooting, etc. Is it just me? lol Right now I'm getting ready to post in the Malware, I've got a bug. So the printer issue is taking a back seat for now...

Actually the meds are working just fine (just ask JS!). I'm sure I'll have to deal with it again soon, but I'm working on the virus right now. I will be sure to holler (I do that alot anyway). Thanks, D_F!
