HP LaserJet 5n repeating print and making pages black
I have 2 HP LaserJet 5n printers that are doing this-both started within a day of eachother. I believe it's called ghosting? When I print a test page it comes up with HP LaserJet 5M Printer (although it's a 5n) and this line is repeated three times down the page. It looks as though the print is stuck on a roller inside, and there's toner all over the page. All rollers have been cleaned, then changed. I've tried two new fusers, and 4 toners.
The printer is networked.. it has been uninstalled and reinstalled, proper driver has been verified, and I've tried printing to the printers from a different PC. Nothing changes the way the print outs look. Help anyone? :o) Thanks! Melissa |
