I have had this printer for several days now. I am not using the EasyShare photo software as I am used to Photoshop Elements. Be sure to update both the drivers and the firmware to the most current. These are still a work in progress, but things are getting there.
I did notice that the current pdf manual available online is incorrect with regards to the positioning of envelopes. Follow the image on the paper tray and not the manual. Envelope flap should be face up and to the right in the tray. When printing a Works or Word file set up for a #10 business envelope, it stops printing partway thru the return address. I would be interested in hearing if anyone else can duplicate this. There is a workaround: Use a #9 envelope format and move both text boxes a bit to the right until you get a satisfactory result. When printing from Photoshop Elements onto 4X6 paper, there is a very small white margin on two edges even when set to borderless printing. I set a custom size in Elements as close to the borderless setting in the printer software as possible. Select Custom, then 6.08 X 4.12 and crop to fit. True borderless prints are back. I will post back to this thread with any new insights.

Re: Kodak EasyShare 5300 info
Update: current Kodak printer software causes problem with XML. After install of printer any XML update will not properly install. Windows update indicates the need for KB936181, it installs...shows ok, but seconds later system says an update is available...again KB936181. Must uninstall all XML items from Add/Remove Programs, then go back to Microsoft Update to reinstall. I had to use Windows Install Cleanup to allow reinstall of two items. Be advised, when running a repair install of the Kodak printer software you will be back to square one and have to repeat the process.
