Lexmark C500N colour print quality

I have been having trouble printing colour images or graphics. Even the Windows LOGO on the Printer Test Page is streaked vertically making for very poor quality output? There seems to be literally no help at Lexmark and any help from Windows Troubleshooter or their book doesn't seem to be very productive. CAN YOU HELP?

Hi Sharpie and welcome to TSF

Try reinstalling the printer driver as color distortion is usually the drivers fault. Go to the manufacturer's website (Lexmark) and download the appropriate driver to the version of your printer. Uninstall the old one and install the new one from either the EXE or compressed file.
