HP 4200 wont re-connect to Vista
Hi All, Hope your having a better day than i am!!
HP 4200 printer (Parallel connection only) Dell VOSTRO 200 PC (with no Parallel printer port) Running VISTA HOME Thats the hardware out the way. Now i got around this problem buy using a USB to Parrallel adapter which worked fine. Unfortunatley over the festive season our offices were refurbed and all computers were disconnected. Once i reconnected the pc and printer the connection no longer worked. I have deleted the origional print driver and reinstalled the printer to no avail. when i connect the printer to the USB it just comes up with a lovely Microsuck text bubble telling me a USB device is unrecognised or malfunctioning. Any idea how to get around this as its a work pc and i have over 60 emails to print!!! any suggestions welcomed |
