Printer logging
Hello, sorry if this shouldn't go here I'm not sure where it should be.
I recently got a job as a computer technician in a prison, in the education department the prisoners are taught IT, being as they are they are always printing out things they shouldn't be (including some things hurtful to the tutors), I have some logging software but all it does is log the time and ip address of computers that printed out, since there is no way at the moment to tell who it was that printed the offending items I was wondering if there was any software that can actually log a copy of the file that is being printed or do a similar job as well as log the user name, ip address etc. I have searched around and cannot find anything, also it does not have to be free software the prison wouldn't mind paying for it. Once again I'm sorry if this doesn't go here and thank you for any help. |
