Lexmark 6250 won't switch on
While I was out of the house there was a power outage. Now my Lexmark 6250 all in one printer won't switch on. I'm assuming I have a problem with the power supply to the printer having checked it is plugged into a working socket and everything else appears to be correct. Can anybody help? thanks

Re: Lexmark 6250 won't switch on
One of the hardest things to help with online is problems after a power outage. It could be just about anything from cables going bad to bad ports. To help prevent similar problems in the future, I would suggest getting a ups (battery backup)
I got the following from lexmarks website. Check the power supply box (if there is one) or the transformer on the plugin to see if it is warm or cold, as there could be a defective power supply issue. with a voltmeter, test the power supply to ensure that it registering the correct amount of voltage (most Lexmark printers have a 30Volt output).
