Re: Epson Stylus Photo R300
Hi rexrob and welcome to TSF
![]() This sounds to me to be most likely a driver issue. Uninstall the printer and redownload the drivers here: http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/s...dows&x=34&y=14 Install them, and tell me if it was fixed. |

Re: Epson Stylus Photo R300
Goto Start -> Printer and Faxes -> Right click on the MSN Printer and remove it. I have found the exact link, this will surely install your printer, no worries

Re: Epson Stylus Photo R300
I uninstalled the MSN deal and went to the download you suggested which was to the right of{Epson Stylus R300 5.5A}.I clicked on it two different times, waited awhile then went back to Printers & Faxes and nothing was loaded.Do I need to click on something else. When I click on the download another window comes up and says will be loaded in 3 seconds then it goes away. What do I do next. Thanks Bob

Re: Epson Stylus Photo R300
Okay, now try the same download, but within a clean system. Delete your current download and disconnect ALL internet cables. If you are running on wireless, disable your wireless adapter through network connections. After doing so, follow these steps:
Go to Start Click Run Type in "MSconfig" and click Ok Goto the startup tab and click Disable All Then goto the Services Tab Check the "Hide all Microsoft Services" check box and then click Disable All Click Apply, and then Close. Afterwards Restart and retry the installation |

Re: Epson Stylus Photo R300
Try downloading and installing from this website:
http://printers.free-driver-download...s-2000-XP.html And follow the same steps that I had given for removing the internet cable and doing a clean startup. then follow the same steps to put everything back to normal startup. |
