HP 3030 Copying/Printing

I have a client who has an HP 3030. All of a sudden, when he copies a document into a pdf file, the 8.5x11 inch document is expanded into a 30x40 inch document. I can not see any options that would cause this. I have reinstalled the driver to no effect. Any suggestions?

Re: HP 3030 Copying/Printing

Have you tried printing the document to another printer?
Do you get the same result?
When the document is converted to a pdf what software is used?
Does it have any options for enlargement?
Is the document page size set to letter or a larger size?

Re: HP 3030 Copying/Printing

Sorry to be so slow in responding - a nice vacation. Yes, we have tried printing the document to another printer - same result. The scanned document is bigger even though the default paper size is letter. The HP scan software converts the document to a pdf.

Also, I don't see any way to magnify. I am going to uninstall the printer and re-install.
