can't cancel print job in queue or stop test page printing

Oops, sorry! I guess I don't know how to use this site yet! My name came up on someone else's post. I have an HP PSC 1410v All-in-One printer/scanner/copier and, like 'gmb1994', I can't get it to stop printing a test page every time I turn it on. I have removed and reinserted both ink cartridges, to no avail. Alas, I too did not let the printer complete its process when I inserted the new ink cartridge. This is getting to be annoying. I also went to 'Ports' and the 'Enable bidirectional support' was checked. Now what? Help! Thanks...
