Dell AIO 922 running slow with Vista
I have moved my Dell AIO 922 printer from a laptop running XP to a new Dell D830 laptop running Vista. I installed the printer using the Vista driver but now it is running very slowly (2 or 3 minutes for the first page to start!).
Can anyone help please. I have restarted the print spooler but this does not help. Many thanks |

Re: Dell AIO 922 running slow with Vista
Try refreshing the driver set.
http://support.dell.com/support/down...&catid=&impid= Choose Vista 32-bit or 64-bit, depending on what you have. |

Re: Dell AIO 922 running slow with Vista
Many thanks for your suggestion. Your interest in the problem is really very much appreciated.
Unfortunately I have already refreshed the drivers from the source you quote as well as unloading and reinstalling the drivers. I have also tried installing the Vista driver for the printer bundled in with the O/S itself. None of these actions has unfortunately resolved the problem. Do you have any more suggestions as to how I can start to resolve this. The printer is really pretty unusable at present it is so slow!!! Many thanks again |
