Java Virtual Machine Will Not Load
I am trying to load java virtual machine on a new Dell PC running Windows XP and it will not load. I do have the current Java version on the machine. There were also some old versions of Java on it that I have deleted. When I try to load VM, it acts like it is loading and installing, but it is not really there. Any suggestions?

Re: Java Virtual Machine Will Not Load
Hi, there there should be a Java icon in your windows control panel.
Click on it, and you get the Java control panel, which has settings and a Java console. It's been a while since I used it, but I'm sure it has a log of any events/errors. Hope this helps......here is a link to Sun... http://java.sun.com/reference/faqs/index.html |
