hp psc 2110 error 2343 registry fix

I got some help yesterday from someone on how to clear my registry before trying to reinstall my printer/scanner drivers. The registry was clear of all products for the psc 2110. In the local user folder there was a product name for the 2110 and I deleted it. I did get further along in the installation process before getting error 2343 again, and then I got a prompt for fatal error occurring during installation. I have an amateur question. Is it possible that the install wizard is the source of the problem? I'm very grateful for the previous help, it gives me a little better understanding of what's inside. Thank you.

Yeah, the Install Wizard is always giving people trouble. Try a xrcv install through DOS in safe mode.

That's beyond my understanding, but thanks for the suggestion. I did follow some alternate solutions and exported the installer keys from the registry and then reinstalled the drivers. I have the printer back now for print jobs, but during installation i got an error prompt that said "The Java Virtual Machine Will not Load" and I can't use the HP Director or scan or copy. Does that mean I need to uninstall and reinstall the java runtime environment. Thanks again for your reply, I'm learning a lot from people on this site.

Please do not start a new thread for the same problem. Makes things hard to manage on our end.
