hp psc 2110 error2343

My printer/scanner/copier has been working great for years, but recently I couldn't get the HP director to open. I went to online support and had a chat with a tech and they sent me a patch, and then they sent me a program to scrub the drivers out of my system so I could reinstall it. I did all that and now when I try to reinstall I get an "internal error 2343" prompt and I'm unable to install the program at all. At least before that I could print and copy from the printer device itself. Now the tech says I have to use the restore disks for my desktop and restore it to original condition.

Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks for any help you can give.

Hi, you have to delete entries from the Registry.
