Printer software problem
We currently have 3 computers in our LAN at our place. Two are using Windows Vista. One is using Windows XP. Our printer (HP PSC 1610 all-in-one) is installed on the computer with Windows Vista with its installation disc. I then share it with the other two computers. Lately it's been automatically creating new copies of itself in the "Printers and Faxes" folder in Control Panel every few weeks or so. And every time it does that I have to share the copy again in order for the other two computers to print. And thus I have like 3 copies of "HP PSC 1610" in my printer folder. (I deleted a few of them that I'm sure is no use anymore.)
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the printer but the problem persists. It's not a work freezing problem, but it's starting to get on my nerves. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
