hey guys!
I haven't used my printer to print stuff for about 3 years. So i got some new black ink for it but didnt bother to get the color ink and everytime it prints the align cartridge page it misses the yellow pattern that shoudl be on the align page. Can i skip this part? because my printer refuses to print my documents and its driving me insane!!!! What should i do> it keeps reading: error: align cartridge page was not detected please help me someone! please pm me!!! |

If the carts have been in it for all that time then you will probably have to replace them all. The printer will not function correctly if you have a blocked print head and that's why it won't let you skip the alignment check. Replace the colour cart and all should be well.

Re: hp psc 2110 all-in-one
You could attempt to clean the heads manually. Remove the carts and use a cotton bud slightly moistened with water (NO SOLVENTS) and gently clean the head. You will probably need to do it a couple of times and then finish with a dry cotton bud. Install back into the printer and test.
I suspect the Yellow tank has run dry and, sadly, because the printer uses a tri-colour cartridge you will need to replace it. The other alternative is to attempt a refill of the cart with an aftermarket ink. You may get lucky and start the Yellow tank flowing but I wouldn't be holding my breath! ![]() All in all, if the carts do need replacing it is almost cheaper to toss the printer and buy a new one. You can get a decent multi nowadays for the cost of the carts. And you at least get a warranty.
