Wireless Printer

Help! My wife has a giant HPDesignJet 430, used for printing architecture drawings. Any case, it is to big to keep upstairs, so we store it in the basement. Is there a way to do a wireless set up or extend the cable (room downstairs is directly below computer upstairs)? to print from downstairs? The printer has a Parallel IEEE 1284.

They do make wireless print servers. This way you hook it into the back of the printer and you can share it through out the house.
