printer refill kits

does anyone by any chance know the versatility of printer refill kits? i just got an epson stylus cx4800 and the type of ink it has isnt on the list on my refill kit. i assume the printer is newer than the refill kit so it wouldnt be on there, but i could be dead wrong.

Inkjet ink is not universal. Different machines may require different ink formulas.
I wouldn't chance it unless the ink manufacturer can verify that it is safe to use in your new printer.

I must concur with Jflan....Epson printers are quite finicky with the quality ink used, I don't reccomend using refill kits at all with Epson printers
