HP Deskjet 1120C

My HP Deskjet 1120C printer has recently starting pulling in multiple pages, though not all at the same time. It will pull in additional pages after printing about 1/2 of the first page. It will end up pulling 2 or 3 extra blank pages with the last page stopping about midway through the printer. Please advise as to what could cause this.

Check in Printing preferences that you have the correct paper size entered

The paper size is set to 8 1/2" x 11.00". I'm still having the problem with multiple pages being fed. I've tried different paper to no avail.
