Hi to all techforum community members! i am vuwan rai from gangtok, sikkim, india.

i have hp psc 1310 series printer. due to some software problems I uninstalled the drivers through "add or remove programme". now when i try to reinstall the drivers through the hp cd, the following error message shows:
"access denied
F:\setup\hpzprl01.exe -m preloadproduct drivers -1 ENU -f C:\WINDOWS\hpoins 04.dat -Validate No -w5...." and the installation stops.

Hello vuwanrai,

Maybe the hp.com website may help. I am not sure what printer you have, what OS, etc.

Sometimes there have been updates and it is best to download software and drivers from the website instead of using the CD that came with the printer.
