I'm looking for a Photo Printer

Good Morning,

I am looking for a good photo printer. I want something that will print good 5X7 and great 4X6. I'm not real interested in 8X10 but it would be a nice option.

On a scale of 1 to 10 this is what I'm after (10 being best).

4X6 should be 9 or better
5X7 should be 7 or better
8X10... 4 or better is fine.

I have about $200 - $250 to spend. This is going to be a christmas gift and I'll probably have to buy online so plenty of quick replys would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Lydokane

G'Day,
I have a Canon™ PIXMA iP4200, and it does a great job printing photos plus other things like CD's & DVD's.

The cost [in Australia]...$AUD200.

I like Canon a great deal. Like chauffeur2, I have an iP4200 for photos and it delivers excellent quality at the best cost per page in the business. The 4300 is the replacement for the 4200.

What country is this for ?

Anyways I agree the Canon is excellent choice and I feel they are making the best printers right now.

The ip4300 is an excellent model and can be bought rather cheap.

I've got an Epson R-200 that does a beautiful job of pictures and CD/DVD's, Epson's in general are excellent for pictures and with 6 ink cartidges, I find it relatively cheap to operate.
