lexmark x1140 prints out faded

My printer prints everything out faded, colored and black and white. Ive had it for about 7 months and the ink is pretty much full so that rules out that its low. I think the ink might have dried up because i use it rarely.

Print heads drying out is a fairly common problem. Try running the printer through a number of head cleans and see if that gets the carts working again.
Other options are:

Take it to a cartridge refiller and ask then to attempt to free up the heads (they have specialised equipment for this). They will probably not charge you for doing this.
Buy new cartridges (but they'll cost about the same price as a new printer).

For future reference - if you don't use your printer for an extended amount of time then remove the carts and store them in cool place and in a sealed plastic bag. This will prevent the ink from drying out and clogging the print head.
