Cartridge Error Problem on Dell A940 AIO Printer
I keep getting this error message when attempting to print. I've followed the directions in the Dell help area (removing and reinserting the cartridges) with no result. I've also tried to clean the contacts on the cartridges. This hasn't helped either. Does anyone know anything about curing this problem?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. Arnold |

If you have gone through Dell's troubleshooting procedure and cleaned the cartridge and printer contacts, you probably have a dead printer. Quality control isn't so hot these days, and if the printer is still within warranty, you should return it to Dell.

Hi Chode,
Thanks for the reply. I didn't think your answer was particularly "sweet" (that was your signature) since it said I have to buy a new printer. Unfortunately, my printer is over two years old so it's definitely out of warranty. Thanks again. Arnold |
