Epson printer poor print quality
I have a cx5400 printer with poor print quaulity in black ink only. Using the printer head alignment shows the vertical lines as being jagged, not good straight lines as I have seen before. Also, in the nozzle check function omly the black lines are jagged, not smooth. The color lines are OK. Talking with Epson support, I am told I have a hardware problem and that replacing the print head or buying a new printer are my options. I am curious to know if there is more I can do without spending money on either of the above.
Please advise. Thanks, wlcone |
