lexmark all in one prints blanks
This happened before and I fixed via driver update. I updated driver again and no help. I try to print a word doc, then printer behaves as if it's printing the doc and records it as so, but the page is blank? Seems that the content of the word doc isn't making into printer memory. Not sure what to do
Have a lexmark all in one X74 and running windows XP. any ideas? |

Dumb, dumb- Resolved
Ok. After hours and hours of troubleshooting, I finally took the cartridge out and looked closely. Seems that when I peeled back the protective tape, the blue strip was still stuck there and I didn't notice. Sheeesh!!! It would stopping the ink from flowing. All that sophisticated trouble-shooting and all I had to do was this. BTW- I had looked that I removed the tape but it was torn off and the blue didn't come away.

I want to laugh my head off but wouldn't want to offend you. :) Don't be too hard on yourself - similar things to that happen to the best of us. Glad you got it working again.
