Web JetAdmin reporting
Can someone help me out with what I'm sure is a pretty simple process.
I need to create a report of all of the printers on my network including their model #, name, & office location. I am sure that HP Web JetAdmin has this capability, but the details of the process are unclear to me. Also, can this be accomplished from AD, since the printers can be viewed from there? Does LANDesk have similiar capabilities? thanks in advance! |

Jet admin will give this info if you put location under description when you set it up. Otherwise it has no info on the location of the unit. Not sure about the other ways of doing this.
Below is a report from jetadmin from my work.

Go to the Device Management section under navigation, chose Discovery and then properties, as long as your options are correct i.e. IP Range just click Start Background Discovery.
On another point though I can't get the Reporting module to install, if I upload the hprgp-337.fpb module it says there is nothing new to install, but I do not have the reporting options under Navigation. Any Ideas???

I have not liked any of the new versions of Jetadmin. I use version 3.42.
You can download it here. http://members.driverguide.com/drive...riverid=324943
