Another power supply question

I have a 2.3gh HP pc model 762. I recently upgraded the video card to a Sapphire 9600pro 256mb from a 64mb card. The pc is running perfect and the graphics are a big step up. I do notice the pc running a little warmer so I figured I'd uprade the power supply.

The problem I'm having is that the ps sits right behind the dvd/cd drives and do not have enough space for a new ps. My current ps is a 250watt atx, yet almost any other ps I purchased has almost an inch more in depth and does not fit.

Any reccomendations for a power supply that will fit?

could you please take a pic or measure moy much room you have? that would narrow it down alot. also, im not sure you you need a new psu. if you dont see anything wrong, dont change it. as tumbleweed says, "dont fix what isnt broken"

hp uses their own power supplies,and you cannot just swap any old supply in as they are wire to their specifications
