Windows Defender Beta 2
Just downloaded and installed Windows Defender. Upon completion I recvd a screen shot saying that ''Windows Defender (Beta 2) definitions have'nt been updated in 60 days.'' I then click to update and subsequently received another message saying ''Windows Defender was unable to complete the updates. 0x8007064c. The installation source for this product is not available.
Verify that the source exists and that you can access it''. My question is how does one find the source in order to access??? Can anyone advise / help |

Try
1- getting windows updates. 2- uninstall \ reinstall the defender. MS still thinks Americans dont have what it takes for their positions ???? Cheap labor - cheap softwares. why defender ? there are many high quality softwares out there. Dont let them frustrate you with their beta software dont be a free testing tool for them. |

Windows Defender
Tks
Your response taken on board. H/ever did windows update as well as uninstall/reinstall to no avail. Experiencing same probs. Perhaps will just have to disregard bcs with not being able to do definition update it seems pretty pointless. Any other input appreciated. |
