Problem With Keys (they're Alive!)

after my toshiba laptop screen went dark due to a burn out, i plugged my monitor into the laptop and a mouse and external keyboard...now my keyboard won't stop hitting the "R" key repeatedly

anyone have any ideas?

Feeling brave? Most kaptop keyboard are snap components, meaning they literally snap into place. You can gently pry the keys upward to see if perhaps something is jammed between them.
