Computer won't boot
Hi
The pc has an ECS K7S5A m/board with a 1gig duron processor and 512mb of memory. It had been left on for a couple of hours and presumably went into some sort of screen/power saver mode. The user came back and it wouldn't resume or reboot. When the on switch is pressed, the case and processor fans come on but there are no lights on the case, fdd or cd. The cd won't open on the button. It won't switch off from the on switch and the reset has no effect. Any suggestions would be gratefully received. TIA Knots |

welcome
you can try and reset the cmos by unplugging and popping out the battery for 20 minutes but it sounds as if you lost your power supply if you get another, get a quality name, we can help you with that endeavor when your ready. post back |
