3rd monitor help?
a year ago you guys were so helpful in explaining what to do to install a 2nd monitor It worked perfectly------ I was amazed Now I need to do a 3rd one. I installed the thingie (okay, my vocabulary is a little rough here but I forgot what it was called) that lets you install more than 2 monitors. So, a simple explaination if you have the time? Thanks sooooooo much. You guys are great!

Are you using a second (or third!) video card in there? I believe Windows will support up to 8 displays on a single machine. All you need to do is tell it extend the desktop to the extra monitors using the Displays control panel. Click the tab to the far right to see what you can work with.

yes, the procedure for setting up a third is exactly the same as it is for a second one. (i have done this with not alot of hassle, but it's been a tiny little while since i had room on my desk for 3 monitors.) 1. add another vid card. 2. tell windows to include it. also, i personally have seen windows run with as many as 6.
