asus mypal a716 pda dead

as the title suggests my pda which i use for navagation is dead. it displays a grey screen and nothing else. its fully charged and syncs up with my pc but simply wont display anything other than a grey screen. it wasnt dropped or anything. it just went to the grey screen as i was navagating around town. anyone else had this problem

i must say i am a bit disapointed as i havent had an asus product work longer than its warentee period in a long time now. ill never buy another asus mobo because of having 5 die within 1 year and now this, it seems that their other products are no better. im not real fond of throwing another $600 down the toilet

update: when the battery is fully charged and i mean fully charged it seems to work now but as soon as it has been running on battery for more than 5 min the screen goes grey. it will stay on for 9 hours meaning the battery is still good but is only useable for 5 min at full charge. very strange
