Recommend a PSU?
Are any of these (Diablo, Coolmax, Okia) worth having?
What are good, but inexpensive PSUs? |

When Buying a PSU you get what you pay for.
Some very cheap PSU's will only run at 50% efficiency and some good quality PSU's only run at 70% efficiency For example you buy a very cheap 350W PSU but in actual fact its may only produce 175W, thats being a bit pesimistic but, I would always go for an expensive powerful PSU!

Hi,
I too recommend Antec and Enermax for the best supply for the buck. With today's computers, I highly recommend at a bare minimum a 500 watt power supply. The 550 and 600 watt units are the best buy for the money IMHO. There is no way I would buy any of the ones you mentioned.....the power supply is the heart of your computer, buy the best, forget the rest. Oh, if you have big bucks, Seasonic and PC Power and Cooling have great supplies, but not the best for your bucks. Remember the names.....Enermax and Antec....great supplies, not too many bucks.
