y does my transfer rate spike so much!?

does anyone know why my 2mb connection spikes so much?

i know i should get about 200-250kbps dwnload speeds but i get 60-kbps

whats going on? will cleaning my system by hijack this help at all?

We will need more info. What type of internet service do you have? Do you use a router? How do you connect the device to the computer?

Router - BT voyager 205 ADSL router (modem)

Connection - Ethernet
