Dell P1110 Monitor service mode?
My Dell P1110 monitor is much too bright even at (brightness=0) setting. I have heard of a "service mode" to make further adjustments, but the directions for getting to these settings haven't worked for me. (turn monitor off, turn on, hold menu for 4 seconds, etc)
have also heard of opening up the monitor casing and adjusting some screws or soldering a resister somewhere (something i'd rather not do) Suggestions as to how to lower the brightness? |
