New Monitor

Ok with a budget of £200 I am on the search for a new monitor after my old faithful 17" died ^ ^
I found this monitor whilst search through dabs & its within my budget, just need to know if its worth the asking price - http://www.dabs.com/ProductView.aspx...014&PageMode=1

Thanks in advance for any info, Oh & i'm mainly a games player :)

The first thing I noticed is that it has a 16ms refresh rate which might be a little high for a gammer who is used to a CRT monitor. I would be looking at something about 8ms or lower. just incase you do not know the refresh rate in ms measures how long it takes the monitor to go from either black to white or white to black which is important when you look at modern games. sometimes you can experience ghosting as the monitor can not keep up to the changes

Well for the price it sounds ok, It may be worth putting up with a little afterglow as they state for the extra size. If you are not looking for it , it may not be even noticable. I know you can get lower Ms rates in the 19" but you pay for it
