Usb to Firewire

Dont know where to put this sorry.
Anyway here is the question is there a way to convert Usb to Firewire.
Is there a cable or something I can use to plug into a firewire.
OR..I have an old Hi 8 video camera with three cables, red, yellow and white to connect to whatever.
Is there anything on the market to convert these connections into firewire.
Hope you understand the question.
Thanks
jhc

those red yellow and white will be your rca conections which usually conect to your video or tv and send an analog signal. Firewire is digital so you will need something to convert the analog signal to digital. Have a look at the link below an you will get some idea on what you will need to get

Firewire to USB 2.0 DV Transfer Cable with ImageMixer 2.0

It's the Only One Like It in the World!
