Confused Ge Easycam "not so easy"

Hello, first time posting to this forum I bought and tried to install on my emachine w3050 which is a usb plug and play device with included software for windows xp the install wizard stated that it could not install the device "the class installer has denied the request to install or upgrade this device" ,I tried to go thru the install wizard it show's that no driver has been installed for this device but I have the disc and that was the first thing that was installed. Has anyone any idea's on how to solve this little prob. Thanks Mike

Welcome to TSF
After installing the drivers and plugging in the device, go to 'device manager'. There will most likely be a yellow circle with an "!". Click on that and it should be your webcam. Then it will ask to install/update drivers, and then you can browse to where you have your drivers for the webcam and install them.

Keep us posted with your progress.
