System set up

I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right place so forgive me. I just got all the parts for my new system and have some questions. I have a ASUS A8n32-SLI Delux,AMD Athlon 64-3500,4 Gb Corsair DDR400,ASUS Extreme N6600 GT PCI-E,Plextor DVD+/-RW SATA,2 WD200 200GB SATA Hard Drives.
My question is do I just use the SATA cables and set everythin up as normal?or one at a time?Do I need to F6 on OS Instal for raid, or because its on board I dont need to do that?Whats the easiest way to raid XP Pro?
Thanks for all your input and help.

install the disks as normal
you need to load the raid driver with f6
and full instructions for setting up raid are in the rear section of your manual

Ok so I made a floppy from the drive cd that came with the MB. I hit F6 XP did its thing then when it came time for the floppy I put it it and hit enter. The FDD light comes on and you can hear the disc cover slide open but nothing happens except for XP saying Enter,or F3 to cancel. So I dont know where to go next or what to do. Any suggestions Please?

I do press enter and you hear the cover of the floppy open and after about 10 - 15 seconds it pops back up to the screen that tells me to press enter to set up,F3 to exit, etc. if I press F3 I'm exiting set up, If I press enter it does the same routine. I know the floppy is working, I think, because I can hear the cover slide open.

No, the floppy gets accessed since I see the light come on and hear the floppy door open. But thats it it stays on the screen saying to install raid drivers press enter to cancel instalation press F3. I dont know I guess I dont really need raid I just thought My system would be a little faster in Raid 0.

i don't know much about raid,i loaded the drivers to use the raid ports for my eide drives
when i hit f6 it did very little at that time, the actual raid drivers were loaded futher into the install
having never used f6 before to load drivers thought it was a bit odd,but did'nt worry about it
the bios still cannot see half the drives to list them but windows does and they all work
