I can't recommend wireless for gaming. Latency + dead batteries = you getting pwnt.

Hi,
I tend to agree on this point with Ebackhus. However, if you feel that is what you need to do, don't look to the Microsoft wireless products (latency problem), but take a look at the Logitech wireless products (less of a latency problem) with the battery recharging cradle for the mouse.

I use a wireless Logitech Laser MX1000. It's slightly bigger and heavier than most mice, but it's very comfortable and the accuracy is unbeatable.
Apparently latency in games is a common problem. All the wireless mice I've used have been Logitech and I've never had this problem, maybe I've just been lucky. As long as you keep the cradle away from electrical interference, you should be ok.

Everyone I lan with is obsessed with how great that Logitech mouse is!
I'm not convinced, I dont like wireless full stop. But, if I had to have a wireless mouse (and it didnt hurt so much to use it!) i'd have that Logitech one you mentioned above |
