Getting My CRT Screen Straight Edged
I have a samsung 990DF monitor, I purchased it because it was high rated on newegg.com, and I swear I can work on it for a good half hour and not be able to get my screen edges to be parallel to my monitor edges. Is there some sort of trick to doing this correctly? I don't think my monitor has an auto-adust feature either.
Is there any way of fixing this or does everyone with a CRT monitor have this problem? Edit: Also I'm moving soon and I'm wondering if paying the shipping cost to get this monitor where I'm going (Missouri to Hawaii) is worth it, or if I should try to sell it and buy another one when I get there. It can be done, but takes a good deal of time to tweak. You'll have to adjust the trapezoidal measurements, pincusion, and tapering. That should all be in the monitor's OSD setup. It's difficult to get it perfect so I just enlarge it so it barely goes over the edges of the displayable area.
