KVM Switch or something Else?
Hello! We own a small family business, and I am trying to solve a tech need, but I'm not sure I'm looking at the right hardware solution. We have a worker who works at her computer in one room, but consistently needs information from our Point-of-Sale computer. I'd like to be able to run a second monitor and keyboard from the P.O.S. to her desk. I've read a little bit of verbage and specs for KVM Switches, but it seems like these switches are really for one set of monitors and keyboards to run two computers, instead of two keyboards and two monitors running one computer. Can KVM switches do both things, or do I need to be looking at another piece of hardware altogether? Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Yes, a typical KVM switch is for multiple computers to use a single Keyboard, Monitor, and Mouse. On a Windows machine, you could just setup Remote Desktop Connection.
