help me please quickly

i got this sunpower dvd-r disc it says this on the disc for general use version 2.0 dvd recordable 4.7gb 1x-4x i got the dvd disc from my mums friend
and when i burn something and then try watch it on my dvd player comes up read disc error and after i take it out and then put it back in the dvd player then it reads the disc but makes lould noise do you know how make it work perfectly fine on my dvd player.

I don't see this as a double-post, just a "bump". That's acceptable. What I do find questionable though is if you're trying to copy a piece of copywrited material, you will not find help here. Therefore, if you are putting your own compositions on disk, you should be able to make this work. If you're copying a DVD, don't expect it to work. It shouldn't.
