I'm working on a new box and looking for comments/suggestions.

specs are:

Mobo: ASUS A8N-SLI Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Venice 1GHz FSB Socket 939 Processor Model ADA3200BPBOX

Video cards: 2 PROLINK PV-N43ET(256KD) Geforce 6600 256MB DDR PCI Express x16 Video Card

RAM: CORSAIR ValueSelect 1GB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Unbuffered System Memory Model VS1GB400C3

HDD: Western Digital Caviar SE WD800JB 80GB 7200 RPM IDE Ultra ATA100 Hard Drive.

Dvd ROM: LITE-ON Black IDE Combo Drive Model SOHC-5236V

Floppy: SONY Black 1.44MB 3.5" Internal Floppy Drive Windows 98SE/ ME/ 2000/ XP

I own the deluxe version of this board and it is a great board.

This is a nice CPU, but you may want to look at the San Diego 3700 since they have come down in price.

Video cards: 2 PROLINK PV-N43ET(256KD) Geforce 6600 256MB DDR PCI Express x16 Video Card
I just don't know this particular card, so won't comment.

Nice Ram

HDD: Western Digital Caviar SE WD800JB 80GB 7200 RPM IDE Ultra ATA100 Hard Drive.
This is a good drive, but if you are buying a faster rig, you might want to consider a Sata drive that is faster. They work well in the board you have selected.

Dvd ROM: LITE-ON Black IDE Combo Drive Model SOHC-5236V
Nice Combo and I like the Lite-On product line

Floppy: SONY Black 1.44MB 3.5" Internal Floppy Drive Windows 98SE/ ME/ 2000/ XP
Sony does make a decent Floppy, although I don't think their CDRoms are much good, so this one will be fine.

General Comment: Don't skimp on a power supply. If you don't select either an Enermax or Antec 550, you will probably regret it later on. Remember, this is the heart of your computer.
