Whole computer is messed up
Hello im new to these forums, i recently built a new computer and i have been having loads of problems but i will post 2 things which are really bugging me.
1) First of is when i boot the pc, after it loads the windows xp pro screen, the computer screen goes black for around 20 seconds and then as usual displats welcome and takes me to the desktop and it never used to do this. 2) My computer is always stopping. I would click on a folder.....nothing no loading no nothing, the computer will stop responding from anything from 5 seconds to a minute then all of a sudden it will "decide" it wants to load. This is so very annoying and i want to know what i should do. Ive scanned for spyware, viruses etc but it still screws up. Is it the hard drive that is messed or the ram? Please help me as im spending all my days i get off trying to fix this awful machine and i really aint got £700 worth of computer atm.
