Power Supply Test

I was wondering if there is a utility or method that I could use to test to find out if my Power Supply is working properly?

During some of my games, occassionally when I open a movie, and once in a while at random times, my machine will crash to a blue screen and begin doing a memory dump.

I've cleaned up my machine, reformatted and reinstalled everything, protected it with AV and spyware blocking programs, updated drivers, and ran all number of tests...yet I can't pinpoint the problem.

I had a similar problem a few months back which turned out to be a PSU issue. I sent the unit in and received a new one in return, which has given me no problems.

That said, I'm fairly certain it isn't a PSU issue.
I've been told that it sounds like a problem with my RAM...but I've also found out that a memtest might return an error if there is a problem with the PSU.

Basically, I don't want to shell-out $$ on RAM if all I need is a new PSU.
So yeah, anyways, if anyone knows of any way I can test my PSU specifically that would kick ***!

Thanks.

My system:
Windows XP SP2
P4P800 Deluxe ASUS Mobo
BFG 6600GT OC
480W ThermalTake Power Supply
Audigy 2
2x512 PC3500 466 Kingmax RAM
DVD-ROM, CD Burner, DVD Burner
3 pretty standard case fans

Try taking out your RAM, and putting it into another computer, then running memtest. Personally, I dont know of any PSU tester, besides a contigency tester, which you can buy in an electronics store.

Lephanor gave two good suggestions. There are also some software utilities (Everest, SpeedFan) that can examine your system and report levels. Just be aware that they may be incorrectly reported. PSU testers generally just test the most basic functions and can't provide a full diagnostic.
