Problem with a Trendnet KVM switch
I'm having a problem with my TK-205i KVM switch. I had it setup and working great. I moved and set it up again. Now, it works on position "PC1" but the light flashes on position "PC2", the monitor works, but not the keyboard or mouse. I checked the PS/2 and USB ports on both PC's and they work fine. I tried switching the cabling around, but it only happens on position "PC2".
Any idea what the problem could be? I tried calling their tech support twice, but no one answered. Thanks |

Re: Problem with a Trendnet KVM switch
Pretty much same story. Using it to connect Compaq 5000 and Mac Mini, Gateway 17" flatscreen. Works fine for a few days, tdhen Compaq keyboard sticks, ten screen goes caflooey. Immediate fix is connect old Aptiva KB direct to compaq - a few days ater, reconnected COmpaq KB thru switch, OK for a few weeks, then same problem.
