computer stop responding with a black screen
I need some help, my computer after opening a couple of programs goes into a black screen and the red light in the front stays lighted up, also there is no way I can't turned it off by pressing the shutdown button, the only way I can't turn it off is by disconecting the power cord. please help.

are you holding the power button in for 6-10 secs
what happens in safe mode run chkdsk /r list your system specs including the power supply
