Voice editing software
Hey gang just thought I would see if you can come up with an answer to a question i cannot find in the manual which would be pretty useless right about now. (excellent fire starter) I have an IC Digital Recorder product number RR-US050 that comes with Voice Editing Professional Software. The problem that i am having is that i want to be able to plug in the recorder and have the software pick up the interview that i recorded and convert it to text. But we dont have access to the individual to train the software to his voice is there a way that i can set up the software to pick it up from the recorder itself or am i working on a pipe dream? the interviews are for a web site and i would like to be able to post some of interview on the site. I would greatly appreaciate if anyone could help with this d. System info is an HP computer genuineintel 966 mhz blah blah blah 512 sdram and yes i have sound that works anywho. HELLLLLLPPPPPPPPP ME before it flies pretty please
.

The problem with interviews is that people sometimes talk over each other or don't speak clearly enough for the software to recognise. With all the umms and aahs in conversational speech and background noise, the voice-to-text converter will produce so many errors that it would be quicker to transcribe manually.
